Good morning, beautiful souls.

One thing I’ve learned in this journey called life is that most people will be respectful when they’re standing in front of you. But the true measure of a person is often revealed by what they say when you’re not in the room. Sometimes, if we’re honest, we hear that people have spoken hurtful words about us, questioned our character, or wished for our downfall.

The truth is, sharing space on this planet can be challenging. We all carry wounds, insecurities, fears, and unmet needs. Yet now more than ever, we need one another. We need people builders. We need encouragers. We need individuals who choose to lift others higher instead of tearing them down. There is no need to compete, compare, or secretly hope that someone else fails. There is enough opportunity, enough purpose, enough love, and enough abundance for everyone.

When someone speaks negatively about me behind my back, I choose not to return the same energy. Not because I am weak, but because it is not my character. It is not who I am. I refuse to allow someone else’s bitterness to change the way I love. I stand in love. I walk in love. I speak in love.

And the beautiful thing about love is that it frees you. It frees you from resentment. It frees you from revenge. It frees you from carrying burdens that were never yours to carry.

Today, be a builder. Be an encourager. Be a light in someone’s darkness. Speak life into others. Celebrate their victories. Cheer for their success. Because when you choose love, you never lose.

Love is not just something we give..it is something we become.
