One of the greatest blessings of this season of my life is sharing this journey with my daughter as we pursue our dreams of becoming physicians together. We are both pre-med students. She is studying Sports Medicine, and I am pursuing Osteopathic Medicine.

This journey hasn’t been easy. Between Chemistry, Biology, and Calculus, there are days when the workload feels overwhelming. But every challenge reminds me that growth lives on the other side of persistence.

I’m sharing this because someone needs to hear it: It is never too late to start.

Time is going to pass regardless. Four years from now, you can be in the same place wishing you had begun, or you can be celebrating how far you’ve come because you decided to take that first step.

Maybe it’s going back to school. Maybe it’s learning a trade. Maybe it’s starting a business, changing careers, or pursuing a dream you’ve put on hold for years.

Whatever it is, don’t let the amount of time it takes stop you. The years will pass whether you move forward or stand still.

If one person can do it, so can you.

Giving up is not in my vocabulary. I may get tired. I may get challenged. I may have to study harder than I ever have before. But quitting is not an option.

So today, I encourage you to believe in your becoming. Start where you are. Use what you have. Take the next step.

Your future is waiting on the decisions you make today.
