Greetings, beautiful souls.
I wanted to share this because every single one of us will experience it. No matter who you are, how kind you are, or how much good you bring into the world, someone, somewhere, will try to disturb your peace. It’s part of life.
When people come at you with negativity, they’re often looking for a reaction. Whether they realize it or not, they’re trying to pull you out of your center and into their emotional storm. But you don’t have to go.
The greatest strength is not having the perfect comeback. It’s having the wisdom to protect your peace.
Many of you know me as someone who’s always humming, singing, igniting, smiling, laughing, and finding joy in the little things. That’s who I truly am. But joy doesn’t make you immune to negativity. I experience it just like everyone else.
The difference is, I’ve made a decision: I refuse to give negativity the attention it seeks. I refuse to let someone else’s attitude determine my mood. I refuse to hand over my peace because someone else hasn’t found theirs.
Does that mean it’s always easy? No. Sometimes every part of you wants to defend yourself, explain yourself, or remind someone who they’re talking to. But that’s not strength. That’s reacting. Strength is mastering yourself before trying to master the moment.
It’s choosing peace when chaos invites you to fight. It’s staying grounded when someone wants to shake your foundation. It’s smiling because your joy comes from within, not from the approval or behavior of others.
Some people will misunderstand you. Some will criticize you. Others may become distant, withdraw their presence, or create unnecessary drama, hoping you’ll chase, react, or lose your peace. You don’t have to attend every argument you’re invited to. You don’t have to carry what doesn’t belong to you.
Protect your peace like it’s priceless..because it is.
I choose joy. I choose peace. I choose to stay grounded in what is good. And I refuse to let anyone take that away from me.
I hope you’ll make that same choice for yourself….Because the world doesn’t need more people reacting to darkness. It needs more people who refuse to stop igniting.
Peace isn’t something you find. It’s something you choose, protect, become and practice every single day.
Have a beautiful, peaceful day, and keep your  flame ignited 🔥
Let’s go team!
