People often ask me, “What are you doing today?” “What are you doing this weekend?” I smile because I remember a season of my life when I lived for the weekend, always looking for the next event, the next gathering, the next place to be.
These days are different.
As I’ve prayed for wisdom and revelation, I’ve discovered something beautiful. Instead of always going out, I choose to go in.
I go inward..mentally, spiritually, emotionally, and physically. I become still. I close my eyes and see with my spiritual eyes. I listen more than I speak. I spend time with my Creator, allowing His peace to quiet the noise of the world.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with fellowship, laughter, community, or spending time with people. Those are beautiful gifts. But don’t become so consumed with going out that you forget the sacredness of going in.
When you go within, you begin to hear more clearly. You begin to see yourself as God sees you..not through fear, comparison, or yesterday’s mistakes, but through love, purpose, and possibility.
In that quiet place, you can dream again. You can create. You can heal. You can receive wisdom for the present moment. You remember that all is well, that God is with you, and that His peace is available right now.
I’ve learned that spending time going in prepares me for every time I choose to go out. My conversations become richer. My presence becomes calmer. My love becomes deeper because it flows from a place that has already been filled.
Today, before you rush into the noise of the world, take a few moments to enter the quiet of your own soul. You may discover that everything you’ve been searching for on the outside has been patiently waiting for you within.
Keep igniting from within.
With love, light, and alignment,
Melanie Chryshelle ✨
