They say the older you get, the wiser you should become. But age alone does not create wisdom. Awareness does.
One thing I have awakened into is this: a large percentage of people are living outside of themselves. Looking outside for joy. For peace. For happiness. For completeness. It’s the easier way. The programmed way.
We are taught to chase. Chase people. Chase places. Chase things. Chase titles. Chase experiences. And for a moment… it feels good. It’s a high. A fix. A rush.
But everything that comes into your life a person, a place, a thing ..eventually leaves, shifts, or changes. And when it does, you find yourself looking for the next fix. The next high. The next distraction. It becomes a roller coaster of longing… wanting… chasing… repeating….That cycle is exhausting.
On the other hand, there are those who awaken to their oneness. To their greatness within. But that path.. It takes work. Deep work. That’s why the percentage is small.
It takes courage to face yourself. To sit with yourself. To know yourself. To fall in love with yourself.
It takes strength to stop looking for someone to love you and instead become the love.
To stop looking for peace and instead become the peace.
To stop looking for validation and instead know who you are.
Everything begins with you…..
The world did not teach us this. The world taught us to desire, to compare, to long, to compete. To measure our worth by what we have and who we’re with.
But wisdom whispers something different.
Wisdom says: Turn within…. Be still…. Listen….
I am so grateful I prayed for wisdom and understanding. Because when you truly begin to see, you realize: all is well with me and through me. You become selective about your energy. Selective about your time. Selective about who has access to your spirit. Not from arrogance — but from awareness.
Yes, when you choose the path less traveled, something uncomfortable happens. There is a kind of death. The old version of you the one addicted to outside validation begins to fall away….and that can feel like loss.
You may lose relationships. You may lose familiarity. You may lose who you thought you were. But what is being born is greater…
So I ask you:
Would you rather have everything and be asleep? Or have true peace and be aware?
My dear friends, turn the search inward. Be the change you long to see. Be the love you seek. Be the peace you crave.
Try it. ..and you will never want to go back to the old programming.
Join me on this path. Dare to truly see. Dare to truly hear. Dare to truly live.
…and as always, let’s anchor ourselves in the present moment:
Where are you? … Here.
What time is it? … Now.
What are you? … This moment. ✨
Awaken. Ignite. Become.
