There comes a moment in life when you stop searching for yourself in people, places, possessions, titles, relationships, and status.

You stop looking outside of yourself for validation. You stop asking the world, “Who am I?”…And instead, you become still enough to hear the answer that has been within you all along. You begin to see yourself through the eyes of the Creator.

You realize that your worth was never something to be earned. Your beauty was never something to be proven.Your value was never something another human being could give or take away…And when this awakening happens, your energy changes.

You walk differently. You smile differently. You love differently. You no longer enter a room seeking approval. You enter a room carrying peace.

Not everyone will understand that. Some people will be inspired by your light. Others will become irritated by it. Because your freedom reminds them of the chains they are still carrying.

Your joy reminds them of the happiness they have abandoned. Your self-love reminds them of the wounds they have refused to heal.

Some will show their irritation openly. Others will hide it behind smiles, compliments, and polite conversations. But behind closed doors, they may not be celebrating your growth.

Do not let that trouble your spirit. People can only meet you at the level they have met themselves.

Your assignment is not to convince anyone of your worth.Your assignment is to continue becoming. Continue shining. Continue smiling. Continue choosing love.Continue speaking life. Continue being kind even when others are unkind. Continue honoring yourself even when others dishonor you.

Release the need for people to understand you, approve of you, or applaud you. Expect nothing from anyone except for them to be who they are. Then bless them and keep moving forward.

If people gather to gossip about you, let them. If people misunderstand you, let them. If people create stories about you, let them . 

Meanwhile, you keep rising. You keep healing. You keep growing. You keep becoming the highest expression of who you were created to be…

And if your light gives people something to talk about, then let them talk. The sun never stops shining because someone complains about its brightness. Neither should you.

Today, IGNITE from within. Love yourself deeply. Walk boldly. Shine unapologetically.

And remember:

The brighter your light becomes, the more it reveals..not only who you are, but who everyone else has chosen to be.
