Life has a way of presenting opportunities, invitations, relationships, conversations, and situations that look appealing on the surface. But not everything that comes your way deserves access to your life.

The more awake you become, the more selective you become.

You begin to truly see.
You begin to truly hear.
You begin to recognize energy before words.
You notice intentions before promises.
You stop chasing what doesn’t belong to you.

At some point, you have to lovingly say:

“I can’t go for that… no, no can do.”

I can’t go for confusion.
I can’t go for unnecessary drama.
I can’t go for relationships that require me to abandon myself.
I can’t go for indecent affairs or situations that compromise my integrity.
I can’t go for trying to fit in where I was never meant to belong.
I can’t go for people, places, or associations that pull me away from my peace.

Not because I’m judging anyone. ..but because I’m honoring myself. I’ve learned that protecting your peace isn’t selfish..it’s wisdom.

There is no need to force connections.
No need to settle because you’re lonely.
No need to lower your standards because something seems convenient.

Be patient.

Allow life to unfold.

The right people, the right opportunities, and the right experiences won’t require you to betray who you are to receive them.

No matter what situation you find yourself in, there is always another choice.
There is always a better way.
There is always a way out.
Always.

Today, choose what honors your heart, your values, your purpose, and your peace.

If it dishonors who you are…

Neither should you.

Protect your energy.
Honor your journey.
Stay awake.
Stay aware.
