Many of us spend our days pouring into others serving, helping, volunteering, and showing up for everyone around us. That desire to be of service is beautiful. It reflects a generous heart and a genuine love for people.
But there is a truth we cannot ignore: You cannot pour from an empty cup.
I have met so many people who dedicate their lives to helping others, yet they go home feeling drained, empty, and sometimes even depressed. Service is powerful and meaningful, but it should never come at the cost of your own well-being.
If you truly want to serve others in a lasting and meaningful way, you must first learn to serve yourself.
Check in with yourself. Are you okay- Mentally? Physically? Emotionally? Spiritually?
Your well-being matters.
Fill your own cup first. Restore your energy. Nourish your spirit. When you do, what you give to others will come from overflow, not exhaustion.
..and that kind of service the kind that comes from wholeness is the service that truly changes lives.
Take care of you… so what you give to the world comes from strength, not sacrifice.
🔥 Fill your cup. Live from within. And let your light ignite the world. Let’s go team!Â
